Nothing. Gridline has no accounts and we run no servers for it, so no personal data reaches us.
When you import a reference image, Gridline saves its own smaller copy inside the app, along with your grid and view settings. These stay only on your device. Gridline does not upload your images, and we cannot see them.
Gridline asks for camera or photo access only when you import a reference image, either by choosing one from your library or taking a new photo. It uses that access for nothing else. You can change these permissions at any time in your device settings.
The free version shows a banner ad on the project list only. There are no ads in the editor. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, which is operated by Google, not by us. To show and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK in the app may collect:
Google processes this data under its own policies. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Buying Gridline Pro removes the ads.
Gridline Pro is a one-time in-app purchase handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive your payment details. Gridline checks your purchase with the store on your device and stores only a “Pro unlocked” flag locally.
Gridline is not directed to children under 13 and is not part of the App Store Kids category or Google Play’s Designed for Families program.
You can delete a project inside the app at any time. Uninstalling Gridline permanently deletes all of its data from your device. Data collected by Google AdMob is retained and deleted according to Google’s policies linked above.
Gridline is available worldwide. Your projects never leave your device. Data collected by Google for advertising may be processed in countries other than your own, under Google’s policies.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date before the change takes effect.
